We’ve just come across this intriguing looking Three-Bed Semi-detached property. On the Market with Elevation for a reasonable sounding £230,000. However the details don’t tell a lot. This is either deliberate by the Agent, as it isn’t great inside, or they are being screwed down on their Fee (or just plain slack!)
Either way it does have potential. We recently had a place on Kimble Drive which rented out to Student Nurses for £1425 pcm. That’s a ‘none too shabby’ 7.4% Yield, which is good for Bedford. Renting to a Family for £950-£1000 pcm is possible which still gives a good 5% Return.
As a Family home it ticks many Boxes in terms of Local Schooling, Access to Town Centre, Open Space and Access in and out of Bedford. There are even Allotments nearby!
It just a shame the Agent couldn’t be more forthcoming with the details. If I were the owner……..
